We keep it simple: we don't track you, and we're transparent about what we do.
What We Don't Collect
Bible Bowl Companion does not collect, store, or use any personal information about you. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, location, or any other identifying details. Your data stays on your device.
What We Do Measure
We use anonymized usage metrics to understand how the app is being used and to improve it. These metrics are:
- Completely anonymous — we can't identify you or connect metrics to any person
- Aggregated — we see trends across all users, not individual activity
- Technical only — we track things like how often features are used, crash reports, and performance data
Examples: We might count "500 games were played today" or "25% of users accessed the replace feature," but we never track "user X played a game at 3pm."
How We Protect You
- Game data (scores, questions, teams) never leaves your device unless you intentionally share it
- We don't sell, rent, or share any data with third parties
- Communication with our servers is encrypted
Third-Party Services
The app may use standard mobile analytics services. These services collect only anonymized, aggregated data as described above. We've configured them to respect your privacy by:
- Not tracking personal identifiers
- Not tracking location data
- Not storing raw event-level data
